These terms apply to your membership of HWBOD+ and your use of our gym, facilities, classes, coaching and app. By joining, whether online, through our app, or in person, you agree to them. Please read them and keep a copy.

2. Definitions
Membership — your ongoing right to access the gym and the facilities included in your chosen plan.
The Method — our separate six-week individualised coaching programme. The Method has its own separate agreement, which applies in addition to these terms if you sign up for it.
The app / member portal — the ClubRight member app and portal you use to manage your membership, payments and bookings, and to enter the gym.
Facilities — the gym floor, equipment, changing areas, lockers and any other areas we make available to members.
3. Eligibility and joining
3.1 You must be 18 or over to hold a membership in your own name. Members aged 16–17 may join only with the written consent of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on their behalf and remains responsible for the membership. We do not offer membership to anyone under 16.
3.2 When you join, you confirm that the information you give us is accurate, and that you are medically fit to take part in physical exercise. If you have any doubt about your health or fitness to train, you should speak to your doctor before starting.
3.3 You agree to complete any health questionnaire (PAR-Q) we ask you to, and to tell us about any medical condition, injury, pregnancy or medication that may affect your ability to train safely. We may use this information to help keep you safe, but you remain responsible for training within your own limits. How we handle this information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
3.4 Your membership is personal to you and cannot be transferred, shared or sold to anyone else.
4. Membership, fees and payment
4.1 The fees, membership type and anything included are those shown on your membership agreement at the point you join. Gym memberships start from £45 per month.
4.2 Membership fees are collected by monthly recurring payment through our membership platform, ClubRight. By joining you authorise these recurring payments on the agreed dates. (Payments for The Method are taken separately via Stripe, under The Method's own agreement.)
4.3 No joining fee currently applies.
4.4 No minimum term. Your membership runs on a rolling monthly basis and you can cancel at any time by giving 30 days' notice (see clause 8).
4.5 Failed payments: if a payment fails or is missed, we may suspend your access until it is paid. If your account stays unpaid for more than 14 days we may cancel your membership and recover any amount you owe.
4.6 Price changes: we may change membership fees. We will give you at least 30 days' written notice (by email or through the app) before any increase takes effect. If you don't want to accept the new price, you may cancel under clause 8 before it takes effect.
5. What's included
5.1 Your plan gives you access to the facilities and services listed on it. Your membership agreement sets out exactly what yours covers.
5.2 We may add, change or remove particular pieces of equipment, classes or services from time to time. We'll always aim to keep the core of what you've paid for available, and we'll give reasonable notice of any significant change.
5.3 The Method and coaching are not automatically included in gym membership. They are separate paid services with their own terms. Nothing in these terms guarantees a specific physical result, weight, or outcome from training, classes or coaching — results depend on many factors personal to you.
6. Your right to cancel within 14 days (cooling-off)
6.1 If you joined online, through the app, or otherwise without meeting us face-to-face, you have the legal right to cancel within 14 days of joining, for any reason, and receive a refund.
6.2 If you ask us to start your membership during that 14-day period and then cancel, we may charge you a fair amount for the period you had access before cancelling.
6.3 To cancel within the cooling-off period, just tell us clearly by email to info@hwbodgym.com, through the app, or in person before the 14 days are up.
7. Freezing your membership
7.1 You may apply to freeze (pause) your membership for example; for injury, illness, pregnancy or extended travel, for up to 6 months in total.
7.2 Requests to freeze must be made through the app or by email before your next payment date. While your membership is frozen you will not have access to the facilities, and no monthly payment will be taken for the frozen period.
8. Ending your membership
8.1 If you're on a rolling (no contract) membership, you can cancel at any time by giving us 30 days' notice through the app or by email to info@hwbodgym.com. You'll keep access until the end of the notice period, and one further payment may be due to cover it.
8.2 If you're on a 12-month plan, you're committed for the minimum 12-month term. After that it continues monthly and you can cancel any time on 30 days' notice, as above. During the first 12 months you can only end early if: (a) you give 30 days' notice and settle the remaining payments for the term, or (b) we agree to release you early for genuine reasons such as long-term injury, illness, pregnancy or moving out of the area — we may ask for proof.
8.3 Cancelling your payment with your bank is not the same as cancelling your membership and does not end your obligations. Please cancel with us directly so we can confirm it and stop billing.
8.4 We may suspend or end your membership (without refund of fees already due) if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, for example abusive or threatening behaviour, putting others at risk, damaging equipment, or not paying. Where it's appropriate we'll warn you first.
8.5 We'll always confirm a cancellation to you in writing or by email so there's no doubt it has happened
9. Access, opening hours and the app
9.1 HWBOD+ is staffed-hours access only. Opening hours are shown in the gym and in the app, and may change, including on bank holidays or for maintenance, refurbishment or events. We'll give reasonable notice of planned closures.
9.2 You enter the gym using your personal QR code in the ClubRight app. This is personal to you. You must not let anyone else use it or let anyone in behind you. Doing so may result in your membership being suspended or ended.
9.3 You're responsible for keeping your app login secure and for telling us promptly if your account is compromised.
10. Using the gym safely and our rules
10.1 You agree to follow our gym rules, any safety signage, and the reasonable instructions of our team at all times.
10.2 In particular you agree to: use equipment properly and for its intended purpose; ask if you're unsure how to use something safely; not train beyond your own ability; wipe down and re-rack equipment after use; wear appropriate clothing and footwear; and behave with respect towards staff and other members.
10.3 You must not enter the gym under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or bring, use or supply any illegal substance or performance-enhancing drug on the premises.
10.4 We want HWBOD+ to be a place where nobody feels judged or intimidated. Harassment, intimidation, discrimination or aggressive behaviour towards staff or members will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal and termination of membership.
11. Health, fitness and medical
11.1 Exercise carries inherent risks. By using the facilities you accept those normal risks and agree to train within your own limits.
11.2 Our team can guide and coach you, but we are not doctors and nothing we provide is medical advice. If you feel unwell, dizzy or in pain while training, stop and seek help. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are recovering from injury, get advice from a qualified medical professional about whether and how to train.
11.3 You must tell us immediately if you have an accident or injury on the premises.
12. Our responsibility to you (liability)
12.1 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else we are not allowed to limit or exclude by law. Your legal rights as a consumer (including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015) are not affected by these terms.
12.2 Subject to clause 12.1, we are not responsible for loss or damage that is not reasonably foreseeable, or that arises from your own failure to follow these terms, safety guidance, or staff instructions.
12.3 We provide the facilities with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for the loss or theft of, or damage to, your personal belongings on the premises, including in lockers, unless caused by our negligence. Please don't bring valuables you can't keep with you.
13. Lockers and belongings
13.1 Lockers are £1 coin operated (the coin is returned to you when you reopen the locker) and are for use during your visit only. Please clear your locker before you leave. We may remove and store, and after a reasonable period dispose of, items left behind. You use lockers at your own risk (see clause 12.3).
14. Day passes and guests
14.1 Day passes are £10 and week passes are £25. Neither includes access to classes. Anyone using a day or week pass must complete a health declaration and agree to our rules before training.
14.2 If you bring a guest, you're responsible for making sure they complete a health declaration and follow our rules.
15. Photography and filming
15.1 We create content (photos and video) in the gym for marketing and social media. We take care to be respectful, and we'll always try to make it obvious when filming is happening.
15.2 By being on the premises you understand that you may incidentally appear in the background of this content. If you'd prefer not to be featured, just tell a member of our team and we'll do our best to keep you out of shot or remove you, and we won't make you the focus of any content without your agreement.
15.3 You must not film or photograph other members or staff without their consent, and you must respect others' privacy, especially in changing areas.
16. Changes to these terms
16.1 We may update these terms from time to time for example to reflect changes in the law or how we operate. If we make a significant change, we'll give you reasonable notice by email or through the app. If you don't accept a significant change, you may cancel under clause 8.
17. Data protection
17.1 We take your privacy seriously. How we collect and use your personal information — including health information you give us is explained in our Privacy Policy at, which forms part of your agreement with us.
18. Complaints
18.1 If something's not right, please tell us. Speak to a member of the team or email info@hwbodgym.com. We'll aim to acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and resolve it fairly and promptly.
19. General
19.1 If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply.
19.2 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
19.3 These terms are between you and us. No one else has any rights to enforce them.
